Simona Bernardoni

She graduated on March 2010 in Building Engineer/Architecture at the University of Bologna with 110 of 110 points, cum laude, defending a Technical Architecture Thesis entitled "Design and construction of Social Housing in Bologna in the experiences of the 60s and 70s. The redevelopment of the towers in the Pilastro district." (professor engineer Richard Gulli, engineer Andrea Guidotti, engineer Giovanni Mochi). In July 2010 she obtained the license to practice in civil and environmental section registering to the Engineers Institute of Bologna.

From September 2010 Honorary fellow of the material in the course and in the Laboratory of Architecture and Architectural Composition III, V year at the Faculty of Engineering of Bologna, Prof. Giorgio Praderio, Prof. Alessio Erioli, Prof. Andrea Luccaroni, Prof. Francesco Fulvi. She has worked for the academic year 2011/2012 in the course of Technical Architecture of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Parma, III year, Prof. Francesco Fulvi. She was co-rapporteur of some theses of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna.

She was a member of the team organization and presentation of "Architecture in Travel: Europe of cities" exhibition on April-May 2011 at the Bologna Urban Center and "Architecture on the road, construction of town for new citizenship" exhibition on September 2010 in the Saint Lucia Aula Magna of the University of Bologna. She has written a text in the publication "Architecture in travel: Europe of cities ", published by Europe Direct Centre of the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia Romagna in collaboration with DAPT. When she was at University she has done an internship at the design studio specialized in Bioclimatic, RESEARCH AND DESIGN - Galassi, Mingozzi and Associates, dealing with lighting, acoustics, engineering and architectural design. On October 2008 she participated in the Design workshop on energy and natural light under the leadership of the architect Mario Cucinella at the Saie Energy Fair in Bologna. She attended the basic course CasaClima and is currently specializing in acoustics. Since April 2010 She has collaborated with the "Sustainable Architecture" office by Francesco Fulvi, where she specialized in architectural design and detailed design, preparation of scale models, support to project management, collaboration and energy certifications CasaClima.
